O’Steen’s Market & Farm

ABOUT THE FARM

Levi & Corissa O’Steen felt to start a small fruit stand in 2016. They were born and raised in Marion County and come from a generation of farmers, dating back to 1936. Yet their vision was a little different than their family before them. At first, those close to them thought they were crazy! However, O’Steen’s Market grew to what it is today and is continuing to grow. From humble beginnings to purchasing a large store in 2020, O’Steen’s Market is constantly expanding and raising the bar. They stay true to their roots sourcing 90% of their products from local farmers. They also grow on their own farm which is 100% Pesticide Free, Non GMO, using no synthetic Fertilizer, no Hormones, and nutrient rich soil.

They have such a wide variety of items there’s definitely something for everyone. Florida Farm fresh produce, Amish meats and cheeses. Rolls of all-natural butter, raw A2A2 jersey cow milk, raw honey, pantry staples, spices, baked goods, all-natural chips, variety of jams & pickled items. Fresh baked goods from a local bakery including homemade sourdough, and pasture raised chicken eggs. Another favorite is the Fair Trade Artisan Roasted coffee, you can choose from different flavors and they even offer a sample while you shop. Also, for the kids and the kids at heart, they offer all-natural sodas and candies.

What began with fruits, veggies, and homemade jams has blossomed into a community staple. Even so, their vision doesn’t end there so stay connected to see what’s in store for the future of O’Steens Markets.

In 2020 O’Steen’s Market moved into a larger store, which now covers 2400 square feet. That’s quite the difference from the 12 by 30 foot space they previously occupied. The larger store also provided space for a variety of new items customers can choose from. Partnering with local farmers and other small business owners in the community, O’Steen’s now offers a great selection of goods.
